![]() ![]() I don't do extensive editing that requires something else. (for newer camera only).īut overall, Studio NX does everything I need. So, I had to export a tiff and then open with NX-2. It's very much the same as trying to open a NEF directly with NX-2. I add it in the menu, but no tiff file is directly created by studio so the NEF is not recognized by NX-2, if the NEF was created by the newer cameras. The the tiff file is used to open it with NX-2. With NX-D you had the option of opening an image with Capture NX-2, (from NX-D) via NX-D created tiff file. I have installed and used it on some images. Lightroom and Photoshop are so good and so ahead and so seamless that even Affinity could not drag me away from Adobe's extortion scheme, and Satan knows I wanted to! I have downloaded it but not yet installed. Yes, I'll be waiting for the reviews on Youtube to know more on the features. ![]() The site states it works will ALL Nikon digitals from D1 to D780 and new Z. I just found, installing this will remove all versions of ViewNX (ViewNX, ViewNX2, ViewNX-i) during install. Is it "more" or "less" featured than NX-D? Recently I cannot convert D750 images from NEF to JPG in either View NX or Capture NX-D as I always get an error message of another application has the image open.įrom the announcement email I just got on this it sounds like NX Studio might replace the 2 other apps? Hopefully it will be a true editing package and not just a fancy NEF to JPG converter with crop, lighting, and control point adjustments. If darktable could provide these function it would speed up the workflow of many fotographers I think.I downloaded it and tried it. I talk about the mode in lighttable described on your website with: "ctrl-z fully zoom into the image and show areas in focus " The function I would appreciate to see is - hit any key combination - have the zoom mode with shown focus areas persistent - navigate with arrows through the pictures (perhaps you could scroll through the pictures with the mouse wheel too) - use delete button to delete/move to trash the shown picture (perhaps you could map mouse wheel click to delete the shown picture) - optionally provide strg+z to undo the deletion/move to trash If the function works with the mouse support it would be very easy to sort the best picture out of a set of pictures. I have suggestion, please make it possible to use the strg+z mode persistent. I use darktable for one and a half year now and I´ve been very excited about the great project.
